and I hope you are practicing Jeff for your big day at the Pyle RFC.
I'm not worried about Lloydy - just watch that Nick Winn.
He'll start touching you up on stage and allsorts !!
......and with the set up we have, there's not a lot of room to move mate !!
Did anyone see that raving shirt lifter Eifion Lloyd on his Indian tour last night on "Jobless" (I think) on BBC1 last night.
Fair do's to the lad he has come on leaps and bounds from the last exhibition at the Pyle Legion, and what a smashing hairdo.
Me and darren are having one done like that but the barber has told us the only way he can do it is if we wait a year.
Apparently he wants us to grow some hair on our arse and comb it over- the cheeky b****d !
Could one of the committee please sort out getting email addresses off all players in the league and doing an email blast each month to promote and inform them of up and coming events.
We also need someone to advertise these exhibitions and someone to pinpoint the local pubs and dart teams in Porthcawl and Kenfig Hill area to promote more support locally.Other areas are also welcome to be targeted also.
I have a cunning plan and I'll let you know soon.
This is a last call for all those who can to please support the 2 events this month.
We in the league do appreciate the fact that we all have other commitments and we are not asking for the world but if we could see a few new faces suppporting the events ( especially the exhibition nights which are the fund raisers), we would appreciate it.
Exhibition tickets can be booked online here with myself,John Robson,Nichola Roberts,Anthony Williams and all committee persons.
If you could contact one of these soon it would help the league tremendously to balance the books and get ahead.
I do not want to sound pushy all the time and put pressure on players, but we do see the same faces all the time at these events.
( AND TO BE HONEST,THERE'S ONLY SO MANY TIMES YOU WISH TO LOOK AT DARREN IN A YEAR - AND I HAVE SIGNED UP FOR TONDU SUPERLEAGUE ASWELL ! )
Gareth Jones and Kelly - thanks and Lee I forgot you as you didn't enter this time but I'll pop you in mate.
How could you ever be on the banned list !!!
Wayne having looked through the summer Bridgend prem league i am not named in any of the leagues any idea how come or am i on the banned list i`ll check now !!!
Curly Watts can you clarify that for 10 points to Buzz who should be disqualified for copying in my view !!
Anyway I have just come off the phone and am so happy for another one of our players as we have had our 4th sponsorship deal since Sean Fisher and John Farmer were sponsored by Red Dragon last year and Tim Jones was sponsored by John Smiths.
It goes to our quiz master himself who has picked up 2 deals in one.
He has a joint deal with the Rug Doctor and Allied Carpets.
Bobby Charlton also showed an interest but withdrew after finding out our Darren was a scouse and even wears their shirt to Darts meetings.
ANOTHER RULE I AM THINKING OF CHANGING !!
I also have turned down sponsorship from the DADS PANTS advert as I couldn't fit into them any more !!
The website lease has just been renewed for another 2 years so let's make the most of it.
This site was once thriving and the main source of information and chat in the area for darts.
All the site administrators will try to keep it up to date and informative as to tell all it's members what's going on and all results of past comps.
All we ask from our members from now on is to log onto the site to get the knowledge of whats going on.
I would like all players who are on the web to set up an account and get the darting community back to it's best.
We can only do this with respect for each other and tact in our choice of words.
This site can galvanise the community or rip it apart.
Those words are directed to myself, the committee and everyone as we can all be as bad as each other.
We do want constructive critisism, but only if the critisism is meant for the right reasons and not because someone is drunk in the early hours of the morning and wants to lash out.
It takes effort from us all to get this back working as I feel this site has not hit it's true potential over the last year.
If we all make that unselfish effort, I think we will all see a vast improvement as to the service of this site.
I do not want anybody coming on site without their proper name any more or people who have not got the leagues best interests at heart.
Banter is great for the fun and spirit of the league, but we all have to now know where to draw the line.
(MYSELF INCLUSIVE IN THAT)
Thanks Buzz, just 5 spaces or so left to name and a couple more to fill.
Any one who comes online can you look at the Porthcawl Premier and have a think as I had lost all my data on this and had to put the pieces together off the gazzettee articles which did not show players relegated .
The space in div 2 next to pooler is a bye as we had 9 men in the top 2 leagues and Mark Grabham was the one to be included back to the Premier and the bye got relegated !!
( WELL IF YOU PLAY THAT BADLY - WHAT DO YOU EXPECT !!! )
The only gap i'm unsure of Wayne, is Wayne Williams, he was in division 2 with me, and was in the lower play offs (don't think he turned up) but that should only drop him into div3 ?? , and he's now listed in div4, so he could be the missing one from div3.
Buzz, you just keep an eye on Mr Joseph, he is like a child with a new toy......so, just behave yourself Mr Joseph or you will be on that Naughty step yet again.....but hey nothing new there then.....lol
The site now is totally updated @ 8/3/2010 apart from the local tournaments and info about gaps I have left in the Porthcawl Summer League.
In the next committee meeting we will have to catorgorise what part of the web we will all will want to maintain and hopefully we won't get to this stage again.
Thanks for your help with getting it back on track !!!
Half the problem in the past was I had so much on that I was not feeding simon the relevant information but if we all pool our thoughts and abilities we will get this site back hopefully to what we had before when we were communicating well between each other.
I think someone should set up a list of emails of all our players so we can send monthly email blasts to remind everyone what's coming up that month !!
Also advertising these events ( especially the exhibitions ) is something we need to address to get maximum out of the league and also we need to pinpoint more the main Porthcawl and Kenfig Hill darts leagues or atleast their pubs to get tickets sold as I spoke to one member the other day and he did not know Colin Lloyd was coming down.
Also Karl Foxx said he'd put the info on his website and email blasts for his Big Night Out promotions so that might help !!
I'll speak to you about it soon.Keep up the good work with the tickets mate !!
Josey there is nothing on the site about this years comp. If anybody has the info, or Simon could post it here, I would be more than happy to put it back up for him.
Everything updated apart from the local tournament section and photo section that Anthony Williams will hopefully do when possible and an update on the rules which I will sort within a week !!
Can anyone fill in the question marks over players who were relegated or who are left blank in the Porthcawl Premier section .
I have to get it sorted for the Summer Premier !!
I was handed a black darts wallet at the OCLP last committee meeting.
It is about 4" wide and 9" long.It is a large wallet with a dart board badge on the front and a metalCardiff City Key ring attatched.
Inside are several compartments for flights and the person who owns it uses standard flights.
These include Page 3,hoppa(woman shagging bloke),"Fucking Hell",ones,Viking, welsh and Liverpool flights aswell as others with several springs and stems inside aswell.
I would have had it for myself but I drew the line with the liverpool flights.
We all have standards !!
So , I have had Miss Marple and Columbo on the scene to deduce who to look for and on the facts provided I was told to tell you all to please look out for a Blind,Sick Scouse Norseman from Wales with a high sex drive and could well be a sexual pervert. They probably suffer from torretts - the bad langauge disorder and will be probably this minute be stumbling around shouting out ....................
"where the fuck did I put my my darts case - you bastard ? "
Buzz .
Can you please go onto the Angela Rees Memorial site and put the darting information for Simon's tournament back on the local tournament page.
I didn't look properly and deleted the page !!
If that's in your capabilities I would appreciate it as it's out of my depth !!
Todays Winner - Mr Darren "Pat, Pat, what have I done Pat ! " Rees............
and he will be awarded 10 points to go top of the Battle of the Bets table !!
YOU ANORAC !!
TO SEE THE RESULTS , PLEASE CLICK ONTO THE BATTLE OF THE BETS ON YOUR PAGE MENU !!

I'm not sure in which prem they were hit (this it was last Bridgend summer) so haven't added them, but I do remember Hayden Thomas, and Rob Owen hitting one.
